PYP5
In PYP5 we inquire into the organization of citizens, how people use art and design to reflect their cultures, the preservation of societies through documentation, and action people can take to improve their communities and well-being.
Students also investigate problem solving through inventions and innovations and how throughout life changes occur that help create their sense of self.
PYP 5 is a time of growth for students, mentally, physically and socially, as they prepare to leave the PYP program and enter into the new and exciting world of MYP.
The Exhibition
The exhibition represents a significant event in the life of a PYP student, synthesizing essential elements of the PYP and celebrating them with the whole school community.
This culminating experience provides PYP5 students with an opportunity to exhibit the International Baccalaureate (IB) learner profile attributes and characteristics that they have been developing during their time as a PYP student.
Students will engage in a trans-disciplinary inquiry process that involves identifying, investigating and offering solutions by taking action to real-life local and global issues or problems.
