Drama Productions

The whole-school musical production is a collaborative presentation featuring students from CAIS and DISC.  Students are encouraged to be risk-takers and participate in auditions and production related ECAs. The audition process includes singing a short excerpt of a song and dramatic readings.  The students chosen for main roles must be committed to rehearse consistently, memorize their lines, sing solo/small ensemble songs, and develop a sense of stage awareness. These combined elements help cast members develop a strong, relational bond.  If selected, both students and parents are asked to sign a letter of commitment to the production.

Through these productions, students develop their musical abilities, dancing and acting skills, as well as, developing their Approaches To Learning(ATLs).

We look forward to this year’s production, and hope that you will choose to participate.
